All patients are carefully screened for safety and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Our surgical suite includes a heated surgery table for greater comfort, advanced sterilization techniques, patient monitoring including ECG, blood pressure, CO2 and oxygen saturation monitors, and intensive after surgery care.
Riverside’s veterinarians are experienced in a wide range of soft tissue and orthopedic surgical procedures. We use a radiowave surgical unit for many surgeries (similar to laser surgery). Riverside utilizes a board certified surgeon for more advanced surgical cases.

Please have your pet in our office before 8:00 AM. Our office opens at 7:30 AM.
- Take away all food at 9:00 pm the night before and take away water the morning of the surgery.
- It is important that your pet comes in for surgery on a totally empty stomach on the morning of the surgery.
- If your pet needs a bath, please make arrangements to have it done the day prior to surgery.
