Insurance Options

Pet insurance works well in cases of injury and illness. Pet insurance premiums are typically paid on a monthly basis and can be used to help offset some of your pet’s treatment costs.

When using pet insurance, payment is due when services are rendered and then your insurance company will reimburse you if applicable.

CareCredit

CareCredit is a healthcare credit card designed to help you pay for your pet’s health and wellness over time instead of having to pay for everything all at once.

Your CareCredit card can be used for a variety of veterinary procedures, including:

  • Spay and neutering
  • Dental cleaning
  • Parasite control and prevention
  • Medication
  • Vaccinations
  • Surgical procedures

Scratch Pay

A veterinary loan company, Scratch Pay is not a credit card. Scratch Pay can be easily done from any smartphone, after a treatment estimate from Riverside Veterinary Hospital has been provided. Apply now at scratchpay.com.

Surgical Deposits Policy

Riverside Veterinary Hospital will require a deposit on all surgical procedures due at the time of scheduling, to reserve your pet’s surgery date. The deposit will be collected as follows;

Surgeries performed by RVH require a $200.00 non-refundable deposit.

Surgeries performed by outside veterinary surgeons require a $500.00 non-refundable deposit.

  • This surgical deposit will be charged to your pet’s account and applied to the balance of the surgery on the day of your pet’s procedure.
  • If the client cancels or reschedules the surgical appointment before 72 hours, the deposit will be refunded or may be transferred to a new surgical date.
  • If a surgical procedure is canceled same day or the client is a “no-show”, the deposit will be automatically forfeited.*

*We understand that unexpected situations may arise that are out of your control. Please contact us right away to discuss the situation with a RVH staff member.

"YALL!!! Oh my gosh I love this place so much! They are just awesome with our pets! We have been a client up there for over 30 years and they are just wonderful with every kind of pet every kind of personality your pet may have they just and go with it! I mean because we have a sassy cat and a sassy dog and they are a handful! They're great and loving at home but when they're out of their normal environment, they are anxious and scared, and Riverside handles it wonderfully! I love Dr Meacham!! We love all of them! We love the staff... And they have some new faces in there---but those new faces have wonderful smiles and they're always very helpful and kind. We love doggie daycare, grooming, boarding (oh thank God for boarding-- they have been a blessing to us!). I am so thankful that we are blessed with Riverside vet and they're awesome team.
