Dr. Yufan Chao

Dr. Yufan Chao is from China. She is a graduate of Purdue University where she obtained an undergraduate degree in Animal Science. She then completed her DVM degree at North Carolina State University where she fell in love with North Carolina. Dr. Chao states, she wanted to be a vet since she was a little girl. Her love and passion for all aspects of veterinary medicine has grown more and more over the years. She has a special interest in exotic pets and traditional Chinese medicine, especially acupuncture. She is dedicated to helping all animals in need and strengthening their relationships with their loving owners.

In her spare time, she loves traveling, outdoors, volunteering, and drawing. She is also scuba diving certified and is looking forward to more adventures under the sea.
